I have lived in the Riverland for 27 years, and I am married with three sons.

Most of my working life I have been a Teacher with the South Australian Education department. I taught in a variety of Riverland schools in Junior Primary classes. I am passionate about authentic learning. In my work as a teacher I always made an effort to make the learning meaningful and relevant. I am grateful I have had the opportunity to share the learning journey of many very young children, the joy of supporting a child when they first learn to read, write and count is amazing. Having recently left the Education Department I am aware of the huge expectations and demands teachers face.
